When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aloísio Fontoura made a kick off. Rui Lisboa came out of the goal and Aloísio Fontoura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Micael Modesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Aloísio Fontoura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rui Lisboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 90 minutes, Aloísio Fontoura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beira Alta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Fontoura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aloísio Fontoura came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Beira Alta fans jumped to their feet.
