Dewa Cinta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Peralta in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Peralta came free, but Dewa Cinta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dewa Cinta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Peralta in the 16th minute of play. Tomás Rebocho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Cavaco in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sílvio Peralta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dewa Cinta was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When Vali Chiuzbaian fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 85th minute, FC Galaxy's Severiano Simões seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severiano Simões the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Galaxy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severiano Simões had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Galaxy! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, FCPorto's Teodoro Cavaco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomás Rebocho. The crowd rose to their feet as FCPorto's Teodoro Cavaco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Rebocho. That made the score 3-2 after 91 minutes of play. Tomás Rebocho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. FC Galaxy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FCPorto for a fine match.
