Dalmacio Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Rúben Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Dalmacio Nabar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perlinhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Tristan Westermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perlinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Westermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Nabar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Costel Boroneanț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Nabar in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costel Boroneanț saved Morgadinha FC from getting behind. Costel Boroneanț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Westermann in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Anton Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Costel Boroneanț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costel Boroneanț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Eriksson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Morgadinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Eriksson came free, but Costel Boroneanț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Anton Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Costel Boroneanț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Perlinhas FC were awarded a corner. Henryk Ernest went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Perlinhas FC's corner Tristan Westermann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Costel Boroneanț quite easily take care of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Perlinhas FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Fiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orthros Adamou. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Nabar made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Perlinhas FC's Dalmacio Nabar got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Maurício Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morgadinha FC's Costel Boroneanț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Morgadinha FC from getting a goal against them. Costel Boroneanț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Eriksson in the 54th minute. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morgadinha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henryk Ernest was slow to take the kick. During this time Perlinhas FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Henryk Ernest got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Costel Boroneanț quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silverio Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Morgadinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Eriksson came free, but Costel Boroneanț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd play minute Anton Eriksson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Costel Boroneanț. 0-6. 67 minutes into the match, Perlinhas FC's Rafe Almazan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costel Boroneanț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes, Maurício Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morgadinha FC and the Perlinhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Nabar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costel Boroneanț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Fiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. If Tristan Westermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Tristan Westermann notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Morgadinha FC's Costel Boroneanț. Costel Boroneanț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rafe Almazan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Perlinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafe Almazan couldn't finish the play. Costel Boroneanț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Westermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rúben Gago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Costel Boroneanț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Boroneanț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Eriksson in the 96th minute. Perlinhas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
