After 4 played minutes Morgadinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Madeira. Guga Soeiro, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Orthros Adamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgadinha FC's Costel Boroneanț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Quintela in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, SC Toito's goal looked a bit too open when Orthros Adamou came free, but Leal Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Figueiredo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Costel Boroneanț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Quintela in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Quintela in the 18th minute of play forced Morgadinha FC's goalkeeper Costel Boroneanț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Morgadinha FC's goalkeeper Costel Boroneanț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Capablanca. SC Toito's Rubinho Capablanca came free and shot a quick shot against goal 31 minutes in the game, fortunately Costel Boroneanț had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Norberto Zambujal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Costel Boroneanț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Capablanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Quintela was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes SC Toito got a freekick which was hit by Octávio Ferreira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubinho Capablanca during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Morgadinha FC's Costel Boroneanț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Capablanca in the 57th minute of play. Guga Soeiro made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Baltasar Amorim. In the 60th minute, Rubinho Capablanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rúben Gago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Abreu in the 66th minute of play forced Morgadinha FC's goalkeeper Costel Boroneanț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Boroneanț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Abreu scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costel Boroneanț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Egídio Quintela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Toito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Costel Boroneanț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Capablanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the game, Egídio Quintela landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Gabriel Valadão charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Valadão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Toito's Nuno Ávila was substituted for Egídio Quintela. After a rather tough play, Morgadinha FC's Gabriel Valadão got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Costel Boroneanț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Capablanca in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that SC Toito were the better team. SC Toito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
