The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anton Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Joop De Raemaekers made a huge save. Joop De Raemaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Osoro in the 6th minute of play. Leontin Oproiu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Perlinhas FC's Joop De Raemaekers threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmacio Nabar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 10 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Ferfecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perlinhas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VILACOBA SPORT CLUB the free kick. In the 10th minute, one of Perlinhas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perlinhas FC. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for VILACOBA SPORT CLUB. Filipe Lustosa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hermengildo Fiz. 0-1. A collision led to VILACOBA SPORT CLUB getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Normando Calçada hit a great ball. Dalmacio Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joop De Raemaekers having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Silverio Osoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perlinhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 25th match minute, VILACOBA SPORT CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Balsemão to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Nabar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's Joop De Raemaekers. Joop De Raemaekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anton Eriksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joop De Raemaekers could save by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Joop De Raemaekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafe Almazan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Westermann in the 42nd minute of play forced VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Joop De Raemaekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Dalmacio Nabar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perlinhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 46 played minutes Perlinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Ferfecki. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Lustosa was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Silverio Osoro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Daniel Caldas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Caldas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Perlinhas FC made a substitution. David Caires replaced Silverio Osoro. Daniel Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VILACOBA SPORT CLUB defense, Anton Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joop De Raemaekers. The VILACOBA SPORT CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joop De Raemaekers should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Nabar in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joop De Raemaekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joop De Raemaekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Nabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joop De Raemaekers was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Dalmacio Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perlinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Nabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Filipe Lustosa made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Fiz. Perlinhas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 77th minute, Rafe Almazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joop De Raemaekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Henryk Ernest hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Filipe Lustosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perlinhas FC's Hermengildo Fiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Eriksson came free, but Joop De Raemaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's Daniel Caldas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. VILACOBA SPORT CLUB's Joop De Raemaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Nabar in the 89th minute of play. Perlinhas FC's Dalmacio Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joop De Raemaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Eriksson in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Nabar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Joop De Raemaekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Perlinhas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
