With a little luck, LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage got control of the ball when Higino Paião tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Higino Paião had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Lage. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higino Paião was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Joan-Manuel Joestar scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maoz Alfaks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Joan-Manuel Joestar sped through OURAL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maoz Alfaks. After 31 played minutes OURAL FC got a freekick which was hit by André Sacramento. After 32 played minutes, LA COSA NOSTRA's Bebeto Aguiar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maoz Alfaks came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA COSA NOSTRA reached it. Estevão Lisboa's late challenge caught a LA COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Estevão Lisboa helped the player get up and apologised. Estevão Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. LA COSA NOSTRA's Adriano Almeida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baltasar Valadão, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serkan Günden to make the kick off. Maoz Alfaks was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Joan-Manuel Joestar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joan-Manuel Joestar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Serkan Günden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 57th minute of the match Estevão Lisboa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Estevão Lisboa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, Estevão Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joan-Manuel Joestar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maoz Alfaks having to interfere. Torcato Magalhães hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Alexandre Bacelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OURAL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA COSA NOSTRA the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Alexandre Bacelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joan-Manuel Joestar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, OURAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joan-Manuel Joestar came free, but Maoz Alfaks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joan-Manuel Joestar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higino Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Durval Lage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Afonso Portugal hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, OURAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joan-Manuel Joestar came free, but Maoz Alfaks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
