Israel Espírito Santo came out of the goal and Mati Elujõe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelosiro Team's goalkeeper Israel Espírito Santo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armindo Menezes struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Lucílio Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelosiro Team. Stijn De Deygere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Stijn De Deygere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Israel Espírito Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armindo Menezes to strike the kick off in the second half. Pelosiro Team's Israel Espírito Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pelosiro Team from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pelosiro Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reginaldo Figueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Samouco Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. When Stijn De Deygere came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Samouco Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. In the 96th minute, Mati Elujõe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Graciano Portela fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelosiro Team's protests and gave Graciano Portela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th match minute, Pelosiro Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graciano Portela to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Mati Elujõe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
