The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolfo Tomé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Padilha in the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Teodoro Padilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manhente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Padilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederico Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Homero Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Tomé having to interfere. Américo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Valboense FC defense, André Telinhos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Tomé. The Valboense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Tomé should have stopped the shot. Adolfo Tomé came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manhente FC's Teodoro Padilha. But to his dismay, Teodoro Padilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Valboense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Padilha came free, but Adolfo Tomé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Tomé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Coelho in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Mangueira during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Tomé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Padilha in the 45th minute of play. The Valboense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manhente FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Teodoro Padilha made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Valboense FC booed when Manhente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Monsanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Valboense FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Mangueira. Eurico Viana hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Adolfo Tomé acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adalberto Sarmento. Adolfo Tomé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Padilha in the 64th minute of the match. Américo Coelho struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Adolfo Tomé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manhente FC. Adolfo Tomé made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Américo Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Padilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Adolfo Tomé made a huge save. Erasmo Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Valboense FC's Adolfo Tomé got control of the ball when Teodoro Padilha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfo Tomé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Padilha in the 78th minute of play. Gil Mangueira took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Fernendo. Erasmo Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Manhente FC's Erasmo Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Mangueira in the 90th minute of play. Manhente FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
