Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4750, Seating: 1230, VIP seats: 20) Valcerto's Tomás Laureano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Laureano in the 7th minute of play. Edvin Trulsson scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gentil Vital, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gentil Vital took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chumo Resines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damião Paião charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damião Paião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LINHAGEM FC booed when Valcerto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damião Paião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angélico Castelo Branco scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gentil Vital, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valcerto's Gentil Vital played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Trulsson in the 27th minute of play. LINHAGEM FC's Chumo Resines got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Fu Lei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gentil Vital didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angélico Castelo Branco went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Edvin Trulsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Vital having to interfere. Eric Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gentil Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Angélico Castelo Branco made a precise shot to the right of Gentil Vital. Valcerto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Caetano Quintanilha charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Quintanilha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caetano Quintanilha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Mauro Domingues hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Valcerto's Caetano Quintanilha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Edvin Trulsson, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edvin Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. LINHAGEM FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gentil Vital breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Damião Paião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gentil Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvin Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Edvin Trulsson notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Valcerto's Gentil Vital. Gentil Vital was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Angélico Castelo Branco came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the LINHAGEM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angélico Castelo Branco couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, David Castilho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Valcerto's zone, Eric Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gentil Vital came out of the goal and Eric Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, LINHAGEM FC's Edvin Trulsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gentil Vital. Gentil Vital yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Angélico Castelo Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gentil Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Valcerto getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Matias Macena hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, David Castilho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Quintanilha hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LINHAGEM FC's Edvin Trulsson tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Angélico Castelo Branco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gentil Vital came out and tried to block the shot, but Angélico Castelo Branco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 86th minute. Chumo Resines struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gentil Vital didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LINHAGEM FC. Gentil Vital made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angélico Castelo Branco in the 92nd minute of play. Chumo Resines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Vital having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Trulsson in the 95th minute of play forced Valcerto's goalkeeper Gentil Vital to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Valcerto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LINHAGEM FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
