Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edvin Trulsson kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goalkeeper Hermínio Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angélico Castelo Branco. Edvin Trulsson took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Martins. Hermínio Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edvin Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Edvin Trulsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermínio Martins. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Angélico Castelo Branco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Edvin Trulsson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hermínio Martins. Hermínio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chumo Resines in the 17th minute of the match. Alfredo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevão Peixoto in the 20th minute of play. Hermínio Martins came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by LINHAGEM FC's Edvin Trulsson. But to his dismay, Edvin Trulsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Edvin Trulsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermínio Martins was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Valério Almeida in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting CP's Henrique Parente. In the 39th minute, Sporting CP's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fu Lei fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sporting CP's Hermínio Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting CP from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Edvin Trulsson took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Hermínio Martins to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estevão Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. Hermínio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chumo Resines in the 51st minute of the match. Álvaro Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Martins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Trulsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Sporting CP's goalkeeper Hermínio Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Chumo Resines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermínio Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Edvin Trulsson sped through Sporting CP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermínio Martins. Edvin Trulsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermínio Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Álvaro Diegues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Álvaro Diegues came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the LINHAGEM FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Diegues couldn't finish the play. Eric Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Martins having to interfere. Angélico Castelo Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hermínio Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, LINHAGEM FC's Edvin Trulsson made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvin Trulsson scored 11-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fu Lei scored 12-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermínio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Trulsson in the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sporting CP defense, Edvin Trulsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermínio Martins. The Sporting CP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermínio Martins should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the LINHAGEM FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
