To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Arne Eschenbaum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Eschenbaum made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Eliseu Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEW OPORTO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legalize MZ the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, NEW OPORTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 69thth minute of the game Arne Eschenbaum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEW OPORTO's 孟桦延 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Wilson Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Tanek Bobrowski put in a rough tackle. Filinto Palhares had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Eliseu Soares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The nice shot from Vítor Moutinho in the 93rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Filinto Palhares had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience was convinced that Almiro Carmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 孟桦延 was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Legalize MZ's goalkeeper Filinto Palhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Moutinho. NEW OPORTO's 孟桦延 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almiro Carmo in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Legalize MZ were the better team. Legalize MZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
