Spectators: 8042 (Terracing: 6032, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Varela started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, SC Galinheiras's João Varela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. R.M fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Varela 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 13 minutes in the game, João Varela fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabiano Aveiro having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Salvador Lisboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Aveiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Salvador Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, João Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Galinheiras's supporters rose to their feet, but João Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Aveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, SC Galinheiras's Salvador Lisboa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Aveiro. Fabiano Aveiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Fabiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Quintanilha in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Jorge Quintanilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Lisandro Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When SC Galinheiras's João Varela in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye R.M fc's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Hermínio Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Salvador Lisboa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabiano Aveiro, 7-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Quintanilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes SC Galinheiras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Zambujal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Frederico Infante managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Galinheiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Infante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Aveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, João Varela notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of R.M fc's Fabiano Aveiro. Fabiano Aveiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Lisandro Matos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. SC Galinheiras's João Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Aveiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabiano Aveiro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Galinheiras's Salvador Lisboa. But to his dismay, Salvador Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. João Varela struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fabiano Aveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Galinheiras. Zacarias Bombardeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, one of R.M fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for R.M fc. After 75 played minutes SC Galinheiras got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Alvarenga. Mariano Oliveira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jorge Quintanilha kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, João Varela made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Aveiro. R.M fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-1. 86 minutes into the match, R.M fc's goal looked a bit too open when João Varela came free, but Fabiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.M fc's goalkeeper Fabiano Aveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When SC Galinheiras's João Varela in 98 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fabiano Aveiro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Galinheiras fully deserved thier win.
