Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Salvador Lameiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.M fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Lameiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Mariano Oliveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.M fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 16 played minutes R.M fc got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Quintanilha. Jorge Quintanilha scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Frederik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palmiro Garcez during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of R.M fc booed when F.C.Diful Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Garcez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Honorato Vidigal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Lameiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Frederik having to interfere. After 45 played minutes F.C.Diful Utd got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Santos. Luís Raposo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Raposo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half R.M fc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Quintanilha was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Quintela kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Ismael Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Honorato Vidigal put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fabiano Aveiro. 71 minutes into the match, F.C.Diful Utd's goalkeeper Eliseo Frederik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Quintanilha. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Vidigal in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Aveiro saved R.M fc from getting behind. Eliseo Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Quintanilha in the 80th minute of play. With his leg Eliseo Frederik managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when R.M fc's Jorge Quintanilha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Quintanilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eliseo Frederik made a huge save. Eliseo Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Quintanilha in the 90th minute of play. When F.C.Diful Utd's Honorato Vidigal in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye R.M fc's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Alexandre Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. R.M fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
