An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Campelo in the 10th minute of play forced F.C.Diful Utd's goalkeeper Eliseo Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Campelo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Inter Porto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Honorato Vidigal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Porto's Almiro Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valter Campelo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the F.C.Diful Utd defense, Bernardo Teves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Frederik. The F.C.Diful Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Frederik should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Alexandre Avelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luuk Apotheker's late challenge caught a Inter Porto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luuk Apotheker helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes F.C.Diful Utd got a freekick which was hit by Luuk Apotheker. If Joaquim Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Valter Campelo made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Frederik. F.C.Diful Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alexandre Avelar made the kick off in the second half. When Bernardo Teves came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Inter Porto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Teves couldn't finish the play. Honorato Vidigal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Almiro Guimarães made a huge save. Yuri Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Almiro Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Vidigal in the 62nd minute. Eliseo Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C.Diful Utd's Eliseo Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Campelo in the 64th minute of play. Eliseo Frederik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Campelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of F.C.Diful Utd booed when Inter Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Fontoura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Honorato Vidigal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter Porto's André Caiado was substituted for Yuri Araújo. Honorato Vidigal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Almiro Guimarães made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Inter Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Vidigal came free, but Almiro Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Alexandre Avelar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Porto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Diful Utd's zone, Bernardo Teves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Frederik came out of the goal and Bernardo Teves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inter Porto had won after a very even match.
