Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Freire got the match started through his kick off. Marcos Damásio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Paulo Freire fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ken United's protests and gave Paulo Freire a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C.Diful Utd booed when Ken United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Ricardo Quintela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.Diful Utd and the Ken United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes F.C.Diful Utd got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Quintela. After 12 minutes, Rui Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ken United and the F.C.Diful Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ken United's Rui Bento got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Vidigal in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio Ramos saved Ken United from getting behind. Rui Bento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Frederik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Hélio Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Vidigal's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Eliseo Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Honorato Vidigal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ricardo Quintela was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to F.C.Diful Utd getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ricardo Quintela hit a great ball. The F.C.Diful Utd fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when F.C.Diful Utd's Honorato Vidigal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Gaspar Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Honorato Vidigal made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Palmiro Garcez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Frederik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, F.C.Diful Utd's Gervásio Aveiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gervásio Aveiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C.Diful Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gervásio Aveiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Ken United a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Saraiva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C.Diful Utd's Eliseo Frederik. 2-2. In the 71st match minute, Ken United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastão Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Conde in the 72nd minute of the match. F.C.Diful Utd were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Ken United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Manso took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luís Raposo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-2 in the 74th minute. Paulo Freire struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eliseo Frederik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ken United. Eliseo Frederik made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rui Bento sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Paulo Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, F.C.Diful Utd's Eliseo Frederik got control of the ball when Rui Bento tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C.Diful Utd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ken United for a fine match.
