The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Lages got free with Hildeberto Gueifão in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belchior Lages could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hildeberto Gueifão made a huge save. Leandro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Rebocho in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to F. C. Dragon Force getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hermano Veríssimo hit a great ball. Simão Carreira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. 26 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Sangemil's Pedro Bento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hildeberto Gueifão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored Sport Clube Sangemil's protests and gave Alexandre Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Arruda made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermano Veríssimo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes F. C. Dragon Force got a freekick which was hit by Hermano Veríssimo. Daniel Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sport Clube Sangemil's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
