If Palmiro Garcez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Galinheiras's Ronaldo Vale got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Lisboa in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Frederik saved F.C.Diful Utd from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Varela in the 21st minute of play forced F.C.Diful Utd's goalkeeper Eliseo Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, João Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eliseo Frederik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Varela in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Honorato Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as João Varela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Frederik. That made the score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes in the game Ronaldo Vale did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to João Varela. João Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Frederik having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Vidigal to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Varela in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Frederik saved F.C.Diful Utd from getting behind. João Varela struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Eliseo Frederik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Galinheiras. Eliseo Frederik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Varela's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. João Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eliseo Frederik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, João Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Galinheiras's supporters rose to their feet, but João Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Frederik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Wei Han Yue fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Diful Utd's protests and gave Wei Han Yue a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Galinheiras booed when F.C.Diful Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Han Yue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Emanuel Zambujal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C.Diful Utd's Eliseo Frederik didn't even have to move. João Varela succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. Lisandro Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Vidigal in the 88th minute. A collision led to SC Galinheiras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Emanuel Zambujal hit a great ball. When João Varela came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SC Galinheiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Varela couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, João Varela notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of F.C.Diful Utd's Eliseo Frederik. Eliseo Frederik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the SC Galinheiras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
