The audience was convinced that Simão Carreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Matos was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Salvador Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Galinheiras and the Sport Clube Sangemil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87thth minute of the game João Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Clube Sangemil's Leandro Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
