The supporters of FC Zinde booed when Santo António Nordestinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Zinde's Jordão Ruas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Santo António Nordestinho. In the 22nd match minute, FC Zinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Garcez to maneuver through the defense. Alcino Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Jordão Ruas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rúben Carvalheira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rúben Carvalheira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Santo António Nordestinho's zone, João Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rúben Carvalheira came out of the goal and João Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, one of FC Zinde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Zinde. The goalkeeper, Danilo Fidalgo, was totally fooled by Santo António Nordestinho's Alcino Alvarenga, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rúben Carvalheira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ramalho in the 43rd minute of the match. Laurentino Barros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Paulo Lustosa struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Danilo Fidalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo António Nordestinho. Virgílio Bernardes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

In the 54th minute, Rubim Taborda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, João Lisboa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rúben Carvalheira to make any attempt to save it. João Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Carvalheira having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo António Nordestinho's goalkeeper Rúben Carvalheira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Lisboa in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rúben Carvalheira saved Santo António Nordestinho from getting behind. The supporters of FC Zinde booed when Santo António Nordestinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rúben Carvalheira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rúben Carvalheira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Lisboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Santo António Nordestinho's goal looked a bit too open when João Lisboa came free, but Rúben Carvalheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Palma during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
