Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliano Poças started the match with the kick off. FC Zinde's Danilo Fidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Varela in the 3rd minute of play. Salvador Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 minutes, Santiago Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zinde and the SC Galinheiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Zinde's Santiago Marinho got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to FC Zinde getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Carlos Quintela hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Galinheiras's Emanuel Zambujal tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Danilo Fidalgo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Galinheiras's João Varela shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Danilo Fidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Varela in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, João Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Galinheiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Salvador Lisboa made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Fidalgo. FC Zinde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Danilo Fidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, SC Galinheiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute João Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Fidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half SC Galinheiras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, João Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Galinheiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After having played for 58 minutes, Salvador Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Galinheiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Lisboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Danilo Fidalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Galinheiras. Danilo Fidalgo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Lisboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 66 minute of play. After 68 played minutes FC Zinde got a freekick which was hit by João Lisboa. Danilo Fidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Varela in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, João Varela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo Fidalgo, 0-7. 77 minutes in the game, João Varela fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danilo Fidalgo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Varela in the 79th minute of play forced FC Zinde's goalkeeper Danilo Fidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Galinheiras booed when FC Zinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Quintela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match SC Galinheiras got a corner. FC Zinde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Zambujal ran over to the corner to take the kick. 85 minutes into the game, one of FC Zinde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Danilo Fidalgo had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Emanuel Zambujal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lisandro Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Fidalgo was a little too slow when João Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-8. Lisandro Matos came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zinde's Tiago Ramalho. But to his dismay, Tiago Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. When the match was over SC Galinheiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Zinde throughout the match.
