The supporters of Prozela FC booed when BoavistaPorto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. BoavistaPorto FC's Dida Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Cardoso in the 23rd minute of play. If Claudinei Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filipe Fontoura got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lourenço Bezerra. Lourenço Bezerra made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Niceto Abreu immediately put the ball in play. Honorato Regueira kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Abreu in the 36th minute of play forced Prozela FC's goalkeeper Adão Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Regueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Cardoso made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Prozela FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Santarém. In the 55th minute, Yuriy Gorbachev made a precise shot to the right of Adão Almeida. Prozela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Cardoso in the 59th minute of play forced BoavistaPorto FC's goalkeeper Dida Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BoavistaPorto FC defense, Claudinei Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Yu. The BoavistaPorto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Yu should have stopped the shot. Dida Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Regueira in the 68th minute of the match. Prozela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BoavistaPorto FC the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Prozela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Hajder to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Borys Hajder had to leave the field with a concussion. 93 minutes into the game, Micael Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BoavistaPorto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prozela FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, BoavistaPorto FC's Micael Matos got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Prozela FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while BoavistaPorto FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
