The corner ended in Claudinei Cardoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles did a great save. In the 10th minute, Honorato Regueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Regueira came free, but Leandro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eurico Aleixo hit a great ball. Leandro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Santarém in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's zone, Claudinei Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Meireles came out of the goal and Claudinei Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Regueira in the 23rd minute of play. Claudinei Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Leandro Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prozela FC. Leandro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eurico Aleixo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Regueira in the 30th minute of play forced Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalkeeper Leandro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prozela FC's Claudinei Cardoso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Meireles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Claudinei Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Claudinei Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Prozela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Poças came free, but Adão Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Honorato Regueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Meireles was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 58th minute Manuel Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Regueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Leandro Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Heitor Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leandro Meireles. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 68th minute Geraldo Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles got control of the ball when Honorato Regueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Carneiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Prozela FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
