Sílvio Trigueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. defense, Beppe Bonk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Furtado. The LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Furtado should have stopped the shot. Yu Ming Mo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Catarino Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yu Ming Mo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Calçada in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Catarino Furtado saved LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Sílvio Belém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC79 Avanca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. the free kick. AC79 Avanca:s Anier Abaurre showed great skill when he stopped Adriano Corte-Real:s penalty. Adriano Corte-Real received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anier Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Henrique Raminhos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Catarino Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s Bernardo Valadares in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC79 Avanca's goalie prevented a goal. Catarino Furtado came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AC79 Avanca's Maurício Calçada. But to his dismay, Maurício Calçada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s Catarino Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Mendes in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Maurício Calçada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC79 Avanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Calçada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octávio Pádua made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Adriano Corte-Real hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Furtado came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by AC79 Avanca's Beppe Bonk. But to his dismay, Beppe Bonk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Maurício Calçada came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the AC79 Avanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Calçada couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, Henrique Raminhos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Catarino Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Trigueiro. After a defensive mix-up in LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s zone, Plácido Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Furtado came out of the goal and Plácido Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Maurício Calçada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s Catarino Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu Valadares hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Maurício Calçada took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Catarino Furtado. Catarino Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Maurício Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of AC79 Avanca booed when LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Trigueiro lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
