After 21 minutes, Hamilton Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the King Dragon and the Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of King Dragon booed when Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Vilela might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 忠 杨浩南. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vivaldo Vilela ran back to his position shaking his head. 忠 杨浩南 made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alexandre Estrada sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 忠 杨浩南 having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Igrejas. Alexandre Estrada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 忠 杨浩南 came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandre Estrada slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute, Teodoro Esparteiro made a precise shot to the right of 忠 杨浩南. Fenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Alexandre Estrada came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the King Dragon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Estrada couldn't finish the play. In the 89thth minute of the game Marcos Palha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenix's 忠 杨浩南 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Freitas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Palha in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 忠 杨浩南 saved Fenix from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, King Dragon's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Björkqvist came free, but Rogério Taborda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. King Dragon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
