Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luso FC's Bruno Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Adão Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luso FC and the King Dragon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Rodrigo Távora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Peseiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlos Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Estrada in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to King Dragon getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Teodoro Esparteiro hit a great ball. Rogério Taborda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Alexandre Estrada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Noronha got free with Rogério Taborda in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plácido Soveral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carlos Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Isac Guarda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogério Taborda. The goal made the score 1-1. After 27 minutes of play, King Dragon's Plácido Soveral made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Peseiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandre Estrada scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Peseiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Vilela in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Luso FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Afonso Santiago hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Alexandre Estrada sped through Luso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Peseiro. 44 minutes into the match, King Dragon's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Noronha came free, but Rogério Taborda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Plácido Soveral in the 46th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Plácido Soveral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Peseiro was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Estrada was the one to do the kick off. If Plácido Soveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Peseiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 81 minutes into the match, King Dragon's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Guarda came free, but Rogério Taborda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Plácido Soveral managed to get in a good position for a shot. King Dragon's supporters rose to their feet, but Plácido Soveral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. King Dragon made a substitution. Jacob Azeredo replaced Ademar Azenha. King Dragon's Almiro Castilho was substituted for Teodoro Esparteiro. The supporters of King Dragon booed when Luso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Taveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Carlos Peseiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd minute of the match King Dragon got a corner. Luso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vivaldo Vilela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vivaldo Vilela made a great header on King Dragon's corner, it was just that Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Noronha in the 96th minute of play forced King Dragon's goalkeeper Rogério Taborda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. King Dragon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
