Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gorka Mendieta got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Leonardo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregg Czogalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gorka Mendieta sped through SC Langra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregg Czogalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Barbosa in the 8th minute of play forced SC Langra's goalkeeper Gregg Czogalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Langra defense, Gorka Mendieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregg Czogalla. The SC Langra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregg Czogalla should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gorka Mendieta sped through SC Langra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregg Czogalla. Gregg Czogalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Mendieta's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Torcato Flores came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Langra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torcato Flores couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Ronald Groneberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorka Mendieta in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregg Czogalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Ronald Groneberg made a precise shot to the right of Gregg Czogalla. SC Langra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Gregg Czogalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Gorka Mendieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gregg Czogalla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gregg Czogalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregg Czogalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torcato Coimbra took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregg Czogalla. Gregg Czogalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 42nd minute, Gorka Mendieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregg Czogalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Torcato Flores made the kick off in the second half. Gregg Czogalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorka Mendieta in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-! Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-:s Hauk Thuen showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Coelho:s penalty. SC Langra's Torcato Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregg Czogalla was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Leonardo Severo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Severo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. If Gorka Mendieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Groneberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregg Czogalla having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Cristiano Barbosa put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Gregg Czogalla. Leonardo Severos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Gregg Czogalla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th minute, Leonardo Severo made a precise shot to the right of Gregg Czogalla. SC Langra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. 74 minutes into the match, Ronald Groneberg notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of SC Langra's Gregg Czogalla. Gregg Czogalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Miranda hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Leonardo Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
