Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jean Cavalcante made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Branca's Rene Sal got control of the ball when James Dimech tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Cavalcante in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Sal saved Branca from getting behind. A hard shot 10 in the game by Jean Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Rene Sal managed to make a qualified save. Branca's players were relieved. In the 13th match minute, Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Freitas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fenix's Jean Cavalcante got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tim Van Vyve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branca's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Van Vyve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 忠 杨浩南 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Tim Van Vyve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 忠 杨浩南 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tim Van Vyve kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 忠 杨浩南 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Van Vyve in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Dimech got free with Rene Sal in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If James Dimech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 何希霖 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 忠 杨浩南. Fenix's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Branca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 何希霖 to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Branca's goalkeeper Rene Sal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Dimech. In the 47th minute, Fenix's Jean Cavalcante ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Sal. Rene Sal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petruț Miulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Van Vyve in the 53rd minute of play forced Fenix's goalkeeper 忠 杨浩南 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Cavalcante in the 57th minute of play. Mujahid Tee kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rene Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix. After 72 played minutes Branca got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Ramalho. After 73 played minutes, Fenix's Hugo Björkqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Sal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fenix reached it. 76 minutes into the match, Jean Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Sal. Branca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Cavalcante in the 82nd minute of play forced Branca's goalkeeper Rene Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Dimech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rene Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
