Rosmaninhal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Hipólito Amado scored to the left of an out of position Claudemiro Lamego, making the score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Rosmaninhal FC's Hildeberto Freire got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Beira Mar SC's Hipólito Amado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David De Boeck in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudemiro Lamego saved Rosmaninhal FC from getting behind. If Ciccio Mascia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Claudemiro Lamego managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Beira Mar SC's David De Boeck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute, Hildeberto Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Rosmaninhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Fontoura to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Beira Mar SC booed when Rosmaninhal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Fontoura didn't get a good kick on the ball. David De Boeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Claudemiro Lamego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Lessa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipólito Amado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudemiro Lamego having to interfere. Sálvio Vilas Boas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Fontoura in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David De Boeck in the 57th minute of play forced Rosmaninhal FC's goalkeeper Claudemiro Lamego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David De Boeck in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudemiro Lamego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Hildeberto Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carvalheira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carvalheira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Rosmaninhal FC got a freekick which was hit by João Carvalheira. It was beautiful to see Beira Mar SC's Joélson Moreira in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! With a couple of smart ball manuevers David De Boeck in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudemiro Lamego saved Rosmaninhal FC from getting behind. Beira Mar SC made a substitution. Tarcísio Bento replaced Telmo Pires. After having played for 69 minutes, David De Boeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beira Mar SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David De Boeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudemiro Lamego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Mascia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beira Mar SC's Caio Barroso was substituted for Pedro Lucena. The supporters of Beira Mar SC booed when Rosmaninhal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 96thth minute of the game David De Boeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosmaninhal FC's Claudemiro Lamego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Beira Mar SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
