After 34 minutes, Paolo-César Maldini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sul and the Lofi Girl Portimao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Gualter Sequeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Ivo Prestes however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Esteves in the 45th minute of play forced Lofi Girl Portimao's goalkeeper David Antas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerónimo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lofi Girl Portimao reached it. In the 81st minute Rui Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Sul's Raul Esteves made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
