Mateus Valadares was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 15 played minutes Lofi Girl Portimao got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Valadares. 20 minutes into the match, Os Moinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Viana came free, but Rogério Ornelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Viana in the 20th minute of play. Joaquim Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rogério Ornelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Viana in the 25th minute of play forced Os Moinas FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Joaquim Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lofi Girl Portimao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Abílio Gago kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rogério Ornelas came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lofi Girl Portimao's Gil Viana. But to his dismay, Gil Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Joaquim Matos scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Ornelas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Gil Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ornelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Matos got free with Rogério Ornelas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Os Moinas FC's Rogério Ornelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Viana in the 60th minute of play. Rogério Ornelas came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Lofi Girl Portimao's Joaquim Matos. But to his dismay, Joaquim Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 69 played minutes Carlos Melo rounded Os Moinas FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. After 82 minutes, Delfim Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lofi Girl Portimao and the Os Moinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Delfim Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Viana in the 86th minute of play forced Os Moinas FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Matos got free with Rogério Ornelas in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermenegildo Macieira's late challenge caught a Lofi Girl Portimao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermenegildo Macieira helped the player get up and apologised. Hermenegildo Macieira hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
