In the 47th minute of the match slcotovios got a corner. S.C. Canidelense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romão Campos ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

S.C. Canidelense's Éder Moita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesário Cesário in the 52nd minute of play. Cesário Cesário took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éder Moita. Éder Moita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
