Spectators: 8027 (Terracing: 6024, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulino Ferrão kicked off to start the match. Belchior Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belchior Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, fc dragoom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Luz to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes of play, IOL's Celso Sobral made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Matias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustavo Estrela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Gustavo Estrela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc dragoom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Estrela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Sobral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 21 minutes of play, IOL's Celso Sobral made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Matias was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Hélder Matias managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when IOL's Celso Sobral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabino Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Estrela in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, IOL's Hélio Ventura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Matias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IOL reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Sobral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hélder Matias came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Romão Neves. But to his dismay, Romão Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When IOL's Celso Sobral in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fc dragoom's goalie prevented a goal. If Alexandrino Tomé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Cláudio Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Zachary Paraszczuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 minutes, Lisandro Vilas Boas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc dragoom and the IOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, one of fc dragoom:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for IOL. Celso Sobral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hélder Matias. 6-0. In the 76th minute, Alexandrino Tomé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Moutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Moutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Gustavo Estrela came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the fc dragoom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Estrela couldn't finish the play. After having played for 85 minutes, Celso Sobral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Sobral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Celso Sobral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc dragoom's Hélder Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IOL were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after fc dragoom's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Sobral took the corner. Hélio Ventura was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Hélder Matias came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Romão Neves. But to his dismay, Romão Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Hélder Matias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandrino Tomé went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that IOL were the better team. IOL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
