Real Marim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 45 played minutes Real Marim got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Nóbrega. Ervin Nyíri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leal Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by AlmaLusa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Moreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Marim's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Real Marim's Jorge Moreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Ervin Nyíri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Samuel Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Leal Seabra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Marim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 60 minutes into the match, AlmaLusa's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Seabra came free, but Ervin Nyíri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, AlmaLusa's Teófilo Ferrão threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Belchior Valverde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Belchior Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ervin Nyíri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Nóbrega in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Marim fans cheered their team off the field, for while AlmaLusa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
