Samuel Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bernardo Sesimbra made a huge save. Dércio Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Joel Quintela hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Duarte Pessoa fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlmaLusa's protests and gave Duarte Pessoa a yellow card for diving instead. Severiano Taveira placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Quinaz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ervin Nyíri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 played minutes JCSF-Penafiel got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Cabral. Bernardo Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 鲁建默, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁建默 in the 46th minute of play forced JCSF-Penafiel's goalkeeper Bernardo Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 played minutes AlmaLusa got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Kyncl. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Quinaz in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ervin Nyíri saved AlmaLusa from getting behind. JCSF-Penafiel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severiano Taveira in the 54th minute. JCSF-Penafiel's Severiano Taveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ervin Nyíri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, 鲁建默 notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of JCSF-Penafiel's Bernardo Sesimbra. Bernardo Sesimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ervin Nyíri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diamantino Quinaz's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Frederico Benevides took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ervin Nyíri. Ervin Nyíri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Diamantino Quinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ervin Nyíri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Romão Bragança was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AlmaLusa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JCSF-Penafiel the free kick. Ervin Nyíri had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Severiano Taveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Severiano Taveira took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ervin Nyíri. Ervin Nyíri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The supporters of AlmaLusa booed when JCSF-Penafiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Benevides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldaír Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldaír Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AlmaLusa booed when JCSF-Penafiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldaír Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. JCSF-Penafiel played a much better game than AlmaLusa and deserved their victory. The AlmaLusa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
