Gentil Arruda's late challenge caught a fc dragoom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Olívio Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Real Marim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olívio Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Teófilo Ferrão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Ferrão, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Olívio Nóbrega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hélder Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulino Ferrão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Herberto Sequeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc dragoom and the Real Marim players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leal Seabra in the 35th minute of play forced fc dragoom's goalkeeper Hélder Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Nóbrega in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Matias saved fc dragoom from getting behind. When Francisco Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Real Marim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Valadares couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, fc dragoom's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Nóbrega came free, but Hélder Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Leal Seabra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Matias. fc dragoom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leal Seabra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paulino Ferrão made the kick off in the second half. Teófilo Ferrão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Estrela in the 51st minute of the match. Teófilo Ferrão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Luz in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Real Marim's goal looked a bit too open when Herberto Sequeira came free, but Teófilo Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Juraj Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Marim and the fc dragoom players grew even worse after the yellow card. The corner led to Real Marim's Francisco Valadares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 92nd minute Herberto Sequeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teófilo Ferrão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gentil Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
