In the 19th match minute, fc dragoom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Sequeira to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Horta made a kick off. The supporters of fc dragoom booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Horta scored 5-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Matias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Belchior Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rui Horta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Matias was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in fc dragoom's zone, Albérico Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Matias came out of the goal and Albérico Jordão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Horta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Horta in the 84th minute of play forced fc dragoom's goalkeeper Hélder Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Caeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hélder Matias. fc dragoom's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Júlio Sampaio managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when fc dragoom's Gustavo Estrela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th play minute Gustavo Estrela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Júlio Sampaio. 8-1. Belchior Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95th play minutes Rui Horta shot 9-1, a short shot which went by Hélder Matias and just under the crossbar into goal. There was no doubt that Pilar FC were the better team. Pilar FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
