The supporters of C A Casével booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albérico Jordão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Silva got free with Júlio Sampaio in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pilar FC's Júlio Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Júlio Sampaio got control of the ball when Isaac Jusepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C A Casével reached it. In the 76thth minute of the game Isaac Jusepe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilar FC's Júlio Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Paulo Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Sampaio. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Pilar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Sampaio should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C A Casével had won after a very even match.
