A collision led to Real Marim getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jorge Moreira hit a great ball. The supporters of IOL booed when Real Marim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Sobral didn't quite understand what happened when in the 15 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Teófilo Ferrão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Sobral's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, IOL's goalkeeper Sabino Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio Nóbrega. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Sobral in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teófilo Ferrão saved Real Marim from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Celso Sobral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teófilo Ferrão was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olívio Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. Teófilo Ferrão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Paraszczuk in the 54th minute of the match. When Juraj Kelemen fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Marim's protests and gave Juraj Kelemen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Real Marim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juraj Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, IOL's Celso Sobral tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. IOL's Celso Sobral got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olívio Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Marques having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Nóbrega in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabino Marques saved IOL from getting behind. In the 73rdth minute of the game Celso Sobral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Marim's Teófilo Ferrão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olívio Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes IOL got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Castro. The supporters of Real Marim booed when IOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Bruno Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IOL's Celso Sobral got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real Marim's zone, Zachary Paraszczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teófilo Ferrão came out of the goal and Zachary Paraszczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Zachary Paraszczuk took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Teófilo Ferrão to make any attempt to save it. Olívio Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabino Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olívio Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. The IOL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
