Éder Matos came out of the goal and Rodolfo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Oscar Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éder Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Oscar Cardoso sped through SC Mouguelas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Éder Matos. When Carlos Salgueiro fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mouguelas's protests and gave Carlos Salgueiro a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Salgueiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When U.C.Olhalvo's Oscar Cardoso in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Éder Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Matos having to interfere. Éder Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Cardoso to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Valério Brites recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Éder Matos. Valério Brites showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Laurentino Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Éder Matos. SC Mouguelas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Mouguelas defense, Oscar Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Éder Matos. The SC Mouguelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éder Matos should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, U.C.Olhalvo's Jacob Cabral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Éder Matos. Éder Matos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Severino Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Mouguelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! With a little luck, SC Mouguelas's Éder Matos got control of the ball when Oscar Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. U.C.Olhalvo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Leite in the 77th minute. Rodolfo Leite succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 78th playminute. If Rodolfo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Maore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Éder Matos. SC Mouguelas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Mouguelas's Éder Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cardoso in the 94th minute of play. Éder Matos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateo Maore. A hard shot by Ivan Leão from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Éder Matos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the final whistle sounded U.C.Olhalvo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Mouguelas.
