After some careless play in the Auto Esticões defense, Edgar Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Magalhães. The Auto Esticões fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Magalhães should have stopped the shot. André Roriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Magalhães having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Akis Kefallinos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Magalhães having to make a save. Teodoro Magalhães came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz. But to his dismay, André Roriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angélico Barroso during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Auto Esticões got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Barroso. In the 34th minute, Edgar Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Auto Esticões's Teodoro Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Costa in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute, Torcato Rebocho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

After having played for 51 minutes, Edgar Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Auto Esticões's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Edgar Costa scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Magalhães, making the score, 0-7. André Roriz struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Teodoro Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garanhão do SUL. 60 minutes into the match, Auto Esticões's goalkeeper Teodoro Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Costa. Auto Esticões's Teodoro Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Auto Esticões from getting a goal against them. André Roriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Magalhães having to interfere. Garanhão do SUL's Angel Edorta was substituted for 龙然明. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Obafemi Fabiani replaced André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga was substituted for Edgar Costa. Augusto Calheiros hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Plácido Campelo in the 75th minute of play. If Albano Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gama came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Leizarraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Auto Esticões's Angélico Barroso got a free kick in the 89th minute. Teodoro Magalhães came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani. But to his dismay, Obafemi Fabiani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 94th minute, Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Magalhães. Teodoro Magalhães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The Auto Esticões fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garanhão do SUL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
