Teodoro Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Israel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Auto Esticões's Teodoro Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Veloso in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Paulino Cabral notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Auto Esticões's Teodoro Magalhães. Teodoro Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodoro Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januário Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Laureano Veloso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Magalhães. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Veloso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Plácido Campelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Guterres. Ansião United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Plácido Campelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 25 minutes into the match, Auto Esticões's goal looked a bit too open when Januário Viana came free, but Teodoro Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Magalhães came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ansião United's Israel Neto. But to his dismay, Israel Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Teodoro Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Neto in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Ansião United's Israel Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Gama to strike the kick off in the second half. Januário Viana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 51st minute, Laureano Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Magalhães. Auto Esticões's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. After a rather tough play, Ansião United's Laureano Veloso got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jorge Gama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Januário Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Magalhães having to interfere. Teodoro Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Gusmão in the 68th minute of the match. Antero Valentim's late challenge caught a Ansião United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antero Valentim helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Auto Esticões's Antero Valentim got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Januário Viana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodoro Magalhães, passed just outside the right post. Januário Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Magalhães having to interfere. Auto Esticões's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Laureano Veloso scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Magalhães, making the score, 1-9. In the 80th match minute, Auto Esticões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gama to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Ansião United's Paulino Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. Januário Viana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 89 minutes, Januário Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ansião United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januário Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Auto Esticões's goalkeeper Teodoro Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Neto. In a very dangerous position, a player in Auto Esticões fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Paulino Cabral shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ansião United's Januário Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ansião United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Auto Esticões.
