Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Gama got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Gama in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Éder Matos saved SC Mouguelas from getting behind. Plácido Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Matos having to interfere. When Jorge Gama came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Auto Esticões fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Gama couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Mouguelas's goalkeeper Éder Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Carlos Salgueiro came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SC Mouguelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Salgueiro couldn't finish the play. Carlos Salgueiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodoro Magalhães came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Salgueiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes, Plácido Campelo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Mouguelas's Éder Matos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SC Mouguelas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Carlos Salgueiro hit a great ball. Jorge Gama struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Éder Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auto Esticões. Plácido Campelo scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Éder Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Gama in the 47th minute of play forced SC Mouguelas's goalkeeper Éder Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Éder Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Gama in the 70th minute of play. Plácido Campelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79thth minute of the game Carlos Salgueiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Auto Esticões's Teodoro Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Éder Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Plácido Campelo went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Isidoro Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
