Călin Frâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Carneiro in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Almiro Amaro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Alqueva's Hermenegildo Peseiro. Hermenegildo Peseiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celso Pereira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in BlueJaguar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for SC Alqueva. Donato Carneiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Călin Frâncu. 1-1. In the 15th minute, Adérito Peseiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueJaguar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to SC Alqueva getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tomé Júdice hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adérito Peseiro in the 28th minute of play forced SC Alqueva's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Peseiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Tomé Júdice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Alqueva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Almiro Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Peseiro having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, SC Alqueva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Júdice to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SC Alqueva's Hermenegildo Peseiro got control of the ball when Almiro Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermenegildo Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Pinho in the 37th minute of play. Adérito Peseiro scored 4-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermenegildo Peseiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Donato Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Cunha's late challenge caught a BlueJaguar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The wind increased when Adérito Peseiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SC Alqueva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Adérito Peseiro made a precise shot to the right of Hermenegildo Peseiro. SC Alqueva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After 57 played minutes SC Alqueva got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Cunha. Donato Carneiro's late challenge caught a BlueJaguar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, BlueJaguar's Almiro Amaro made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermenegildo Peseiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Adérito Peseiro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the BlueJaguar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adérito Peseiro couldn't finish the play. In the 68thth minute of the game Almiro Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Alqueva's Hermenegildo Peseiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of BlueJaguar booed when SC Alqueva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermenegildo Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Pinho in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Alqueva's Tomé Júdice got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Carneiro got free with Călin Frâncu in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermenegildo Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almiro Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 78 played minutes SC Alqueva got a freekick which was hit by Homero Campos. After 79 minutes of play, BlueJaguar's Fernando Gomes made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermenegildo Peseiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, SC Alqueva's Caetano Cunha got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, BlueJaguar's Almiro Amaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermenegildo Peseiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. After some careless play in the SC Alqueva defense, Almiro Amaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermenegildo Peseiro. The SC Alqueva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermenegildo Peseiro should have stopped the shot. Hermenegildo Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almiro Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. BlueJaguar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
