The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cartaxo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adérito Peseiro 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A hard shot 5 in the game by Fernando Gomes from a close distance when the talented Lúcio Balsemão managed to make a qualified save. Cartaxo's players were relieved. 7 minutes into the match, Cartaxo's goalkeeper Lúcio Balsemão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Machado. Cartaxo's Lúcio Balsemão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cartaxo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Adérito Peseiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lúcio Balsemão. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Vilaça during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cartaxo's Lúcio Balsemão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Peseiro in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Guimarães in the 21st minute of play forced BlueJaguar's goalkeeper Călin Frâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio Guimarães scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Frâncu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lisandro Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lúcio Balsemão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adérito Peseiro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Balsemão saved Cartaxo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Lisandro Machado could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Lúcio Balsemão however easily saved by the left post. After 28 minutes Cartaxo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adérito Peseiro who took care of the corner kick. In the 29thth minute of the game Adérito Peseiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cartaxo's Lúcio Balsemão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as BlueJaguar's Adérito Peseiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lúcio Balsemão. That made the score 3-1 after 32 minutes of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Lisandro Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lisandro Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Balsemão having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Adérito Peseiro lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Lúcio Balsemão. In the 43rd minute, Adérito Peseiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueJaguar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adérito Peseiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Balsemão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Machado in the 51st minute of the match. In the 51st minute, Lisandro Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Balsemão was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Lúcio Balsemão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adérito Peseiro in the 61st minute of the match. Lúcio Balsemão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adérito Peseiro went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Lúcio Balsemão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Machado in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Adérito Peseiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lúcio Balsemão came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueJaguar's Lisandro Machado. But to his dismay, Lisandro Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Lisandro Machado struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lúcio Balsemão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BlueJaguar. The audience was convinced that Adérito Peseiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Balsemão was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 86 minutes of play, BlueJaguar's Lisandro Machado made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Balsemão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Lisandro Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Balsemão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BlueJaguar had played much better football throughout.
