After 11 minutes, Honorato Palhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UC Eirense and the Parede Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes UC Eirense got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Palhares. Thanks to some nice moves Alvise Orsini could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Germano Lousada however easily saved by the left post. Danilo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Frangov having to interfere. Chico Frangov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Palma in the 23rd minute of the match. Danilo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Chico Frangov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Germano Lousada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 31 minutes into the match, UC Eirense's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Freitas came free, but Germano Lousada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Loureiro took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Lousada. Germano Lousada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Germano Lousada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Freitas in the 36th minute of the match. Germano Lousada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Germano Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Carvalho in the 47th minute of play.

During the 68th minute of the match Cândido Sobral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cândido Sobral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Alvise Orsini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germano Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Orsini in the 89th minute of play. When Parede Football Club's Waldir Carvalho in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UC Eirense's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of UC Eirense booed when Parede Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
