After 4 minutes, Severiano Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teixugueira and the ADCR Loreto United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Honorato Zambujal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Asbjørn Sundal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermenegildo Lemos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Xiao Feng in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Teixugueira got a freekick which was hit by Abel Leiria. Hermenegildo Lemos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Vilanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Pan Xiao Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermenegildo Lemos. Teixugueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Xiao Feng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, ADCR Loreto United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Márcio Vilanova's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermenegildo Lemos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. ADCR Loreto United FC's Márcio Vilanova got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Gusmão Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Márcio Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Lemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Honorato Zambujal got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hermenegildo Lemos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Vilanova went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Márcio Vilanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Lemos having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Leheren to make the kick off. ADCR Loreto United FC's Asbjørn Sundal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Mineiro in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Sondre Lillegård recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermenegildo Lemos. Sondre Lillegård showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The supporters of ADCR Loreto United FC booed when Teixugueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Tomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Silva hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sondre Lillegård kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermenegildo Lemos. That made the score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. Sondre Lillegård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, ADCR Loreto United FC's Márcio Vilanova nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermenegildo Lemos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. After 92 played minutes Teixugueira got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Mineiro. Pan Xiao Feng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hermenegildo Lemos made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded ADCR Loreto United FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Teixugueira.
