Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Danilo Ramos kicked off to start the match. UC Eirense's Germano Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Junqueira in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Danilo Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Palma was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. UC Eirense's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Valter Modesto made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Danilo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Afonso Junqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Junqueira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Lousada saved UC Eirense from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Junqueira in the 34th minute of play forced UC Eirense's goalkeeper Germano Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Cândido Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Lousada having to make a save. UC Eirense's Germano Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Nascimento in the 38th minute of play. Germano Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pereira in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Pereira was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, UC Eirense's Germano Lousada got control of the ball when Hermano Granja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germano Lousada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of UC Eirense booed when Dideias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Graça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, UC Eirense's goalkeeper Germano Lousada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Pereira. Valter Modesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes of play, UC Eirense's Diogo Palma made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Modesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Junqueira in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Lousada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Benedito Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UC Eirense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alex Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Germano Lousada made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. UC Eirense were victorious despite being under pressure from Dideias FC for much of the match.
