The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Leheren was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Tomé Júdice's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermenegildo Lemos was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Abel Leiria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermenegildo Peseiro. SC Alqueva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Kevin Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermenegildo Peseiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After a rather tough play, SC Alqueva's Donato Carneiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 played minutes Teixugueira got a freekick which was hit by Abel Leiria. Kevin Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Hermenegildo Peseiro made a huge save. SC Alqueva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Kevin Ponte scored to the left of an out of position Hermenegildo Peseiro, making the score, 1-7. Hermenegildo Lemos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Júdice's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Teixugueira's Gusmão Alcântara suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tomé Júdice charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé Júdice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Tomé Júdice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Teixugueira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
