An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Raposo in the 10th minute of play forced Dideias FC's goalkeeper Ivan Salvado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sords Team fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Sords Team's Rafael Raposo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ivan Salvado was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Noel Peixoto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noel Peixoto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Noel Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ivan Salvado made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sords Team's Marcos Miranda got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Afonso Junqueira made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sords Team's Durval Miranda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Silva in the 22nd minute of play forced Dideias FC's goalkeeper Ivan Salvado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Dideias FC's Ivan Salvado got control of the ball when Noel Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Armindo Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Salvado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th match minute, Dideias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Gniewek to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match, Noel Peixoto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Salvado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Dideias FC's Frederico Salgueiro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Armindo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sords Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 38 minutes into the game, Alex Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Durval Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Pereira in the 41st minute of play forced Sords Team's goalkeeper Durval Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sords Team's Armindo Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Salvado. That made the score 4-2 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Alex Pereira made the kick off in the second half. Alex Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Sords Team defense, Afonso Junqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Miranda. The Sords Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Miranda should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Sords Team got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Raposo. Ivan Salvado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Peixoto in the 71st minute of the match. Armindo Silva scored 5-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Salvado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunnar Hellström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Dideias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Trindade came free, but Ivan Salvado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alex Pereira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sords Team booed when Dideias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Salvado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dideias FC's Ivan Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Silva in the 95th minute of play. Noel Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sords Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
