Alvise Orsini in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lúcio Balsemão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 11 minutes into the match, Cartaxo's goalkeeper Lúcio Balsemão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Orsini. In the 16th minute, Waldir Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Balsemão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lúcio Balsemão came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Parede Football Club's Alvise Orsini. But to his dismay, Alvise Orsini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, Cartaxo's Lúcio Balsemão got control of the ball when Alvise Orsini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Cartaxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Leite to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Parede Football Club's Lúcio Balsemão threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldir Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alvise Orsini had several of the Cartaxo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Lúcio Balsemão as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd minute, Waldir Carvalho had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Palmeira during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cartaxo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ivan Palmeira hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Parede Football Club's Alvise Orsini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lúcio Balsemão. Lúcio Balsemão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Alvise Orsini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Balsemão was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Cartaxo's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Rios came free, but Lúcio Balsemão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Balsemão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Orsini in the 55th minute of play. Antero Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ricardo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parede Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Balsemão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 minutes, Alvise Orsini made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cartaxo's Lúcio Balsemão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63rd play minutes Alvise Orsini shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Lúcio Balsemão and just under the crossbar into goal. After 85 played minutes, Cartaxo's Aldo Lameirinhas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Frangov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cartaxo reached it. When Parede Football Club's Alvise Orsini in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cartaxo's goalie prevented a goal. Lúcio Balsemão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Freitas in the 88th minute of play. Lúcio Balsemão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Orsini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Balsemão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Orsini, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Parede Football Club got a corner. Cartaxo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yaroslav Zasyadjvovk ran over to the corner to take the kick.
